2024 Update

Excuse the very random update, but we're doing some cleanup on our game listing pages!

March 2024: Progress Update!

Hello Everyone!

We’ve been keeping very busy since 2024 began, so while this one did take a bit longer to make, welcome to our first website update of the year!

Patreon Content:

We have released our Patreon updates summarizing our work of the last few months as always. If you haven’t seen them yet, you can take a look here:

    Tons of updates on our combat system improvements with a video, new 3D art, locations, dungeons, mechanic updates, graphical and performance improvements, character creation has been modernized and many, many more updates to be found those last few months.

General Updates:

Most of our efforts this year were on the visuals and combat side, as well as performance improvements.

  • The combat system on the player’s side is fully finalized and is now real-time action combat, which means you can dodge and evade incoming attacks with proper timing, chain abilties into combos and much more.
  • We implemented stats and a talent system.
  • Licensed and implemented new graphics tech released for our engine by 3rd parties, which let us achieve a visual fidelity few indie games manage to in Unity - and more additions here are still coming.
  • We managed to get lower range PC configurations we tested on previously to play at semi-stable 30 frames per second, which we consider a big success, while still being able to efficiently push high-end PCs to run maximum graphics settings at 60+ frames per second (without fancy additions like DLSS or FSR which we also have integrated into the game).
  • We’ve added new locations, dungeons, improved existing ones and have been digging through bug reports and issue fixes around the clock.
  • We added a beautiful new mount, which we can barely stop ourselves from showing you!

Testing Status:

Our testers have been trying out the new combat and so far feedback has been positive and constructive. We are aware there is still a lack of variety in the way combat goes (on the monsters) so we’re working on that and effects for combat now.
We are currently on pre-alpha version 0.1.30 (meaning at minimum 30 semi-major releases since 2022) and hope to hit the 0.2 cycle latest in May once the final bits of combat are finalized.

We freshly updated the roadmap today with progress on all tasks and milestones. Take a look below:

Close Future:

We are currently writing an update post on the status of the project and it’s mostly done - but we’re getting side-tracked with development and haven’t had time to publish it yet.
We still need to record some content for it before we go live, but once it’s up, we will post it across all our social pages so that you won’t miss it. With that, we also hope to rekindle some interest in old followers of the game.
